Role Description
As a Software Development Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our engineering team to design, build, and optimize scalable systems that power Sri Mandir. This internship will give you hands-on exposure to real-world product development, including designing APIs, writing clean and efficient code, and ensuring performance and reliability at scale.
You’ll get to work on complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment while learning best practices in system design, development, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Coding
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards.
- Contribute to feature development, bug fixes, and performance enhancements.
- Collaborate with senior developers in designing and implementing backend and frontend components.
Code Quality & Collaboration
- Participate in peer code reviews and technical discussions.
- Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and testing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in code quality, performance, and scalability.
Learning & Contribution
- Gain exposure to cloud technologies, databases, and scalable architectures.
- Understand and contribute to microservices, APIs, and data-driven systems.
- Take ownership of small modules or features under mentorship and guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recently completed or pursuing B.Tech
- Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go.
- Basic knowledge of web development frameworks, databases, and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Analytical problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
